Prices
The prices published on this website apply only to orders placed over the Internet, by post or by telephone. All prices are subject to change without notice. Within the context of these terms and conditions, and this web-site as a whole, the names and identities of Applestone Music & Sound Ltd, MusicWorldUK and GuitarWorldUK are interchangeable. All correspondence should be addressed to Applestone Music & Sound Ltd, 197 Union Street, Torquay, TQ1 4BY.
Errors & Ommissions
We offer a large catalogue of items and it is possible that from time to time there will be errors in pricing and other information caused either by our mistake or by errors in the data supplied to us by manufacturers and publishers.While we can accept no responsibility for any such errors, we will do our best to ensure that such occurances are few and far between. If an error in pricing means that your order would cost you more than anticipated we will confirm with you by email or telephone before processing your order. If the price increase is small, we may at our discretion decide to absorb the increase ourselves.
Guarantee (Your Rights as a Consumer)
We want you to be happy with the service you get from Applestone Music & Sound. Our guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition and packaging, within 7 working days of receipt, and we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the goods ordered.
Where goods are not returned as faulty (see below) e.g. where you change your mind after shipment, the cost of carriage both ways is non-refundable. You are responsible for returning Goods to us in saleable condition before we can issue a refund. This guarantee does not extend to pre-packaged video recordings or computer software or to instruments which are blown to produce sound e.g. harmonicas etc.
If the goods you receive are faulty please return them to us in their original condition and packaging within 10 days and we will either repair or replace them, or refund the cost of the goods. If the goods you receive are not what you ordered, please return them to us in their original condition and packaging within 7 days and we will either replace them with the goods you ordered, or refund the cost of the goods and carriage. Please call us before returning any goods. We cannot accept returned goods without prior notification. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Non-Stock Orders (Special Orders)
Where we specifically place on order with a supplier an item or items requested by you which is outside our normal stocking committment with that supplier, we reserve the right to
charge a cancellation fee should you cancel your order at any time after placement or delivery. Such orders will be classed as Special Orders. The cancellation fee will not be more than 20% of the cost of the item or items. For small value orders under £20
we will charge a flat rate cancellation fee of £5.00 to cover administration costs. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Small Value Orders
The processing charges relating to small order are proportionaly higher than for larger value
orders. It is therefore necessary to apply a £5 net of vat / delivery minimum order limit on purchase made through this site. If you wish to purchase
items below this limit then we will apply an automatic £1.50 administration charge to cover the costs of credit / debit card processing.
Defective items
You can always return items if they are defective. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. Please contact Kate Ryan (see our contact us page) for details of how to return defective items to us.
Non-delivery of goods
If your goods are not delivered to you within 7 days of the despatch date you must notify us immediately, otherwise we cannot accept responsibility for the lost goods. You will be notified of the despatch date by e-mail shortly after we have received your order.
Damage in transit
Any claim arising from damage in transit must be made to Applestone Music & Sound within a reasonable period of time after receipt of the goods. Please check the cases and contents immediately upon receipt, and before signing for them. Goods seen to be damaged should be signed "Damaged in transit" and packaging materials should be preserved for inspection.
Governing Law
Your use of this website and any purchase of any products using this website will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom.
